2,472 words into chapter 12. Currently longer than chapter 11 (not saying much), and still has a ways to go. Contented. Writing going smoothly. &c.

I think the reason I could never understand iambic pentameter is because my favourite hobby is sporadically accenting syllables incorrectly.
